With this blog we are taking a look at the opposing kingdoms and how their borders changed over time. If a kingdom was to exist there had to be a king and his subjects. People could tell one kingdom from the other because the subjects of the kingdom will follow the laws set forth by their King. The kingdom of righteousness produces citizens who love what is righteous and godly. In the same way, the kingdom of darkness and its subjects will perform acts of darkness. The actions of the subjects determine who’s King is in control of that particular area or real estate. While many claimed faithfulness to the God of Israel, it was God who evaluated the behavior and the true heart of those who claimed to be children of God.

Today, we preach that God is a “God of love,” but we miss the mark in giving justice to His sovereignty over all creation. With this said, God’s love is seen when He warns or disciplines His people. The Lord reveals dangerous situations which are ahead and gives his people a chance to correct their behavior. The Lord strictly warned Israel about spiritual contamination, which is the worst kind of contamination. God has total understanding of how Satan’s kingdom advances into our lives. Satan uses feelings, emotions with awe, and wonder to seduce the people of God.

Christians are very generous when it comes to meeting and greeting people at work or on the street. They are quick to say “God bless you.” But there are times when the Lord warns Christians about releasing blessings on stranger’s lives. This is especially true when the individuals are not servants of the God of Israel.

In 2 John, God’s word gives an example of why it is improper to give a non-believer blessings. Blessings are powerful and they are not to be spoken over the ungodly. This action could give license and freedom to all unwanted spiritual activity in your sphere of influence.

KJV 2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: (2Jo 1:10 KJV)

The Christian home is the altar of the Lord, which also has to be protected from every form of ungodly media. The Bible teaches that when the neighbors saw Paul casting out devils in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, they realized that their homes had been a safe haven for Satan’s contraband. When they brought their artifacts and occult literature and burned them, then revival broke out and people came to the Lord in large numbers. It’s amazing that it was not until the people burned those books, asked forgiveness, and renounced their occult practices. Only then did true revival break forth in the land.

The battle between good and evil pre-dates the civilized world. Yet, there will come a time when the Almighty will pass judgment over the universe and he will bring justice and prosperity to his kingdom. In addition, he will end the reign of the kingdom of darkness.

As far back as the book of Leviticus, men have made sacrifices to the goat deity which is a large part of the Halloween celebration. This is also when the pentagram is a central theme of the symbols of witchcraft.

A large part of the festivities of the Halloween celebration are the food items which are in the form of candy, apples, pies, etc. it is important to pay close attention to how the meal is named, for if it takes on the name of an ungodly feast. Believers should not participate in Halloween because It’s in the act of eating together that joins people together in homage to their god.
