Passover 4

Passover 4

UPDATED !

One of the most consecrated periods intended for Israel was just after Passover. Our Lord wanted to do much more than a well-planned escape. The miraculous events surrounding Passover was only the finger of God. The most majestic miracle for Israel was that Adonai wanted to reveal Himself, a heart, to heart approach. A heart which beat for His Children’s eternal happiness, considering He is only eternal God. So the God of Israel shared instructions (Torah) with his people giving them means to preserve a consecrated society embracing God as their ruling King.

The Law
Leviticus 7:7-8 7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.
8 And the priest that offereth — any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

Hebrew Definition of the word Torah (Law)

H8451. תּוֹרָה tôrāh, תֹּרָה tōrāh: A feminine noun meaning instruction, direction, law, Torah, the whole Law. This noun comes from the verb yārāh (H3384), which has, as one of its major meanings, to teach, to instruct.

The noun means instruction in a general way from God; for example, Eliphaz uttered truth when he encouraged Job and his readers to be willing to receive instruction from God, the Almighty (Job 22:22). In Israel, a father and mother were sources of instruction for life (Prov. 1:8; 6:20); along with wise persons (Prov. 13:14; 28:4). In contrast, rebellious people were not willing to accept God’s instructions in any manner (Isa. 30:8, 9); the scribes handled the instructions of the Lord deceitfully and falsely (Jer. 8:8).

Various words are found in synonyms parallel with this term: It is paralleled by the sayings of the Holy One (Isa. 5:24); the word of the Lord (Isa. 1:10); and the testimony or witness (Isa. 8:20). It is used regularly to depict priestly instructions in general or as a whole.

The Lord rejected the priests of Israel for they had disregarded (lit., forgotten) the Law (Jer. 2:8; Hos. 4:6). They had been charged to carry out and teach all the instructions of the Lord (Deut. 17:11).

Endurance

The Refinement

This short journey could have taken less than two weeks, but for whatever reason, the Lord waited for a generation to die off, before entering the Canaanite city of Jericho. The Battle of Jericho would be a Holy War where Angels would fight for the mortal children of God so that the Lord’s promise is completed and should come to past.

What Joshua didn’t know is a spiritual battle against the death Angel back in Egypt demonstrates Adonai’s power for HIS obedient children.

The warfare is a battle between the Canaanite principalities of that region, facing the cumulative Kingdom of Righteousness.
As Joshua approached the scene of this Holy contest, God’s prophet saw this mighty Angel standing with his sword raised, Joshua asked the Angel on whose side are you. The Angel could have said; you puny humans should stay out of our way, because the battle is over Adonai’s promise made to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob regarding the people who will succeed this nation.

Joshua 5:13 – 6:1
The Lord’s Commander Confronts Joshua
13 When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with sword in hand. Joshua went up to him and demanded, “Are you friend or foe?”
14 “Neither one,” he replied. “I am the commander of the Lord’s army.”
At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence. “I am at your command,” Joshua said. “What do you want your servant to do?”
15 The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did as he was told.

We see the wilderness is a place for refinement and testing of a prototype forged by fire. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the inner surfaces into tension. Adonai brought Israel from slavery to the wilderness to tempered treat them so they would develop endurance.

In the Hebrew Culture, one’s faith is expressed by doing what they believed

James 1:2-4 Faith and Endurance (1:2-18)
2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing (New Living Translation)

James 2:21-24 21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. 24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.

The Jewish Bible James 2:20-24

James 2:24 a person is declared righteous because of actions and not because of faith alone.

James 2:20-24 20 But, foolish fellow, do you want to be shown that such “faith” apart from actions is barren? 21 Wasn’t Avraham avinu declared righteous because of actions when he offered up his son Yitz’chak on the altar? 22 You see that his faith worked with his actions; by the actions the faith was made complete; 23 and the passage of the Tanakh was fulfilled which says, “Avraham had faith in God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness.”He was even called God’s friend. 24 You see that a person is declared righteous because of actions and not because of faith alone.(Complete Jewish Bible)

Our Lord is making us better then before

Jesus Christ, along finished the process the first time through, but He sent the Holy Spirit with power from Heaven.

Deuteronomy   8:1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.(New Living Translation)

The Bible is a wonderful book for the reader, but for those who are looking for a change in their lives,  it’s Jesus Christ of Nazareth The Bread of Life with an invitation for Change.

TO WORK
A. Verbs.
pa‘al (פָּעַל, 6466), “to do, work.” Common to both ancient and modern Hebrew, this word is used in modern Hebrew in the sense of “to work, to act, to function.” Found only 57 times in the Hebrew Old Testament, it is used primarily as a poetic synonym for the much more common verb ‘ashah, “to do, to make.” Thus, almost half the occurrences of this verb are in the Book of Psalms. Pa‘al is used for the first time in the Old Testament in the Song of Moses: “… The place, O Lord, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in…” (Exod. 15:17). There is no distinction in the use of this verb, whether God or man is its subject. In Ps. 15:2 man is the subject: “He that walketh uprightly and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.”

The Effects of the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit Cháris, when received by faith, transforms man and causes him to love and to seek after the righteousness of God. Cháris is initially regeneration, the work of the Holy Spirit in which spiritual life is given to man and by which his nature is brought under the dominion of righteousness. The maintenance of this condition requires an unbroken and immense supply of grace. Grace remains constant in, and basic to, a believer’s fight without against the devil and his struggle within against sin. Renewal is stimulated and impelled by God’s illuminating and strengthening of the soul, and will continue and increase so long as the soul perseveres. God’s grace insures that those who have been truly regenerated will persevere until the end of life. This entire work is called sanctification, a work of God “whereby we are renewed in the whole man and are enabled more and more to die daily unto sin and to live unto righteousness” as is stated by the Westminster Shorter Catechism (Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 4:16; Eph. 4:23; Col. 3:10).

Mountain Top

Mountain Top

Not a mumbling word.

When a man of peace dies at the hands of violence, resulting from people who are willing to inflict physical harm, to silence the soft-spoken.

As the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday approaches; businesses and schools are preparing to observe the day in different ways. Dr. King’s passionate calling was to bring attention to the world that injustice to a few is an injustice to all.

Dr. King’s mission meant endangering himself for the sake of others. He angered White Supremacists, broke down barriers, and went against civil laws even though it ultimately cost him his life. Why would a man risk so much? It had to be God’s Peace that enabled Dr. King to stand courageously, but humbly against his enemies with such resolve. At the time some people might not have understood this as a calling at that time, but the news of the peaceful man’s death made him a world-renown martyr for the cause of human injustice.

Dr. King reminds me of being a student of our Jewish Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Yeshua came to help those who couldn’t help themselves. He didn’t just talk to us about change.

He demonstrated what that change would look like in the human flesh. As a result of giving up His life, He has given us the power to become liberated into new creatures. In other words, Adonai’s Messenger, the Word of God (or Son of God), was sent to animate the heart and personality of His Father.

(Amplified Bible – AMP)
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah),
Because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy),
19 to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the favor of God abound greatly].”
Luke 4:18-19

The same is true for those who accept Yeshua, Jesus Christ as Savior. The Lord will cleanse us, then put His spirit into us to guide us.

(AMP SB Notes)
36:25 sprinkle clean water on you. This symbolized cleansing from sin.
36:27 I will put my Spirit within you. The regenerating and empowering work of the Holy Spirit on individuals would not only restore the people physically to the land but would restore them spiritually, by giving them a new heart and new spirit to help them follow Him and do His will
Ezekiel 36:25-27

While some may not realize it, ancient history of Jews and struggles of Blacks are similar in many ways. For instance, both groups have experienced horrific oppression such as slavery, bondage, and even murder. I believe that we as a people have been called into service by Adonai whose actual name is only known by the High Priest.

Jewish tradition says that if the name of God was ever mispronounced, or improperly invoked; the universe would uncreate. In the same way, the priests created Tetragrammaton, (Hebrew alphabets that point to pronouns representing Who He is) for safety purposes. We say this because God’s message is so powerful, that He places His spirit in individuals to motivate them to complete His plan.

Below are Scriptures that show how God put His Spirit upon Africans and others throughout history to express Himself and to declare His purpose.

15 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
16 Go and speak to Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring — my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.
17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.
Jeremiah 39:15-17

For example, the eunuchs Hegai and Shaashgaz served as guardians of the wives and concubines of Persian King Ahasuerus, who is thought to be Xerxes I.Esther 2:3, 14.

However, not all whom the Bible calls eunuchs were actually castrated. Some scholars say that the term was also used in a broader sense to refer to an official assigned to duties in the court of the king. This appears to be the sense in which the term is applied to Ebed-Melech, the associate of Jeremiah, and to the unnamed Ethiopian to whom the evangelizer Philip preached. Ebed-Melech evidently was a high-ranking official, for he had direct access to King Zedekiah. (Jeremiah 38:7, 8) And the Ethiopian is described as a royal treasurer who “had gone to Jerusalem to worship.”Acts 8:27.https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20150101/eunuchs-shepherds-in-bible-times/

Easton’s Bible Dictionary                                                                                         The queen of the Ethiopians whose “eunuch” or chamberlain was converted to Christianity by the instrumentality of Philip the evangelist (Acts 8:27). The country which she ruled was called by the Greeks Meroe, in Upper Nubia. It was long the center of commercial intercourse between Africa and the south of Asia, and hence became famous for its wealth (Isa 45:14).
It is somewhat singular that female sovereignty seems to have prevailed in Ethiopia, the name Candace (compare “Pharaoh,” “Ptolemy,” “Caesar”) being a title common to several successive queens. It is probable that Judaism had taken root in Ethiopia at this time, and hence the visit of the queen’s treasurer to Jerusalem to keep the feast. There is a tradition that Candace was herself converted to Christianity by her treasurer on his return, and that he became the apostle of Christianity in that whole region, carrying it also into Abyssinia. It is said that he also preached the gospel in Arabia Felix and in Ceylon, where he suffered martyrdom. See Philip)

The significance of civil and political rights is to be a class of rights that protect individuals’ freedom from infringement by governments, social organizations, and private individuals. They ensure one’s ability to participate in the civil and political life of the society and state without discrimination or repression.
(Civil Rights Act of 1964)

Therefore, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is a landmark civil rights and US labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It prohibited unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations.

Mandalay

No one seems to care about what race or what color the victims of October 2, 2017, attack were. This violent attack was against hundreds of innocent concertgoers from the Mandalay Hotel in LAS VEGAS, USA. The tragic news of a family’s fun night being interrupted by automatic gunfire, killing 59 and injuring over 500, was enough for the rallying of hands in prayer worldwide.
As lawmakers debate on who should take the blame, sincere concern and compassion transpire around the world.
More importantly, the body of Christ should continue to pray for the families of each victim. While we are standing in prayer, let us pray that unity is what brings us together and not a tragedy.
The shock and alarm of the death of the innocent stimulated the human psyche is a particular way; this is due to the manner in which God has wired human emotions.
Zechariah 12:10 (NLT) “Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the family of David and on the people of Jerusalem. They will look on me whom they have pierced and mourn for him as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for him as for a firstborn son who has died.”
The traumatic injuries Jesus Christ (our Redeemer) received, was because Christ took our place on the cross. We can be redeemed because Christ made us blood relatives of His Divine relationship with His Heavenly Father.
America is a nation shaped by the Laws that guide her, the same applies to the Laws of God.
There are two doctrinal principles similar to the example of the Mandalay Hotel shooting.
The first is that the death of the innocent requires acknowledgment and restitution.
The second is that the Justification requirements of the law demand compensation by the guilty.
The only person who can receive compensation for the death of the innocent is a blood relative who can prove kinship and who is called a redeemer.
Exodus 6:6 (NLT) “Therefore, say to the people of Israel: ‘I am the LORD. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from your slavery in Egypt. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment.”
Therefore, what ended Satan’s reign over man was his responsibility of casing the death of “Yeshua,” Jewish Messiah. Again, Satan is caught, red-handed, instigating the death of an innocent man.

John 13:27 (NLT) “When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.”

Exodus 23:7 (NLT) “Be sure never to charge anyone falsely with evil. Never sentence an innocent or blameless person to death, for I never declare a guilty person to be innocent.”
Christ Passion was to pay our sin death.
Deuteronomy 21:8 (NLT) “O LORD, forgive your people Israel whom you have redeemed. Do not charge your people with the guilt of murdering an innocent person.’ Then they will be absolved of the guilt of this person’s blood.”

AWE of God II

AWE of God II

2017 Hurricanes story is not a story about the loss of life, but about the AWE of God.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall behold HIM as HE is.

While America is grateful for the fact that Houston’s Hurricane loss of life remains small;  similar results are valid about victims of Hurricane Irma. Unfortunately, some families are not relieved over the announcement of the low death toll, simply because of the deceased, included loved ones from their families.

2017’s Hurricanes story is not a story about the loss of life, but the narrative we are following is the eating away of America’s infrastructure. F.E.M.A. is stretched by the flooding all over the US.

America deficit is getting wider with China at about 368 billion US dollars per year, and if China calls for full payment, the United State’ Stock market will crash. And this is why  America can’t push too hard on China to force North Korea to stop threatening the US.

Plus, the once great America has lost her innocence by creating a Judiciary mechanism that opposes The Word Of God, especially things and behavior the Bible called sin.

Deu 30: 1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt bethink thyself among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, Deu 30:2            and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and hearken to His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul; Deu 30:2

In a Biblical Prophetic sense, what does it all mean? While it’s interesting that Harvey and Katrina both hit the gulf coast of the US border on the same date, August 29, with Katrina, then after 12 years later Harvey appears on the same day August 29 of 2017. Both Katrina and Harvey appeared at the beginning of the Jewish Holy Day month of “Elul,” the month for repentance and ascribing honor to the awe of God with Jews, both Orthodox and Messianic.

In the Jewish faith, if one does not repent before the Jewish Holy Day “Yom Kippur,” (Day of Atonement) one’s carries one’s sins into the next year.

The question is, what does this Day of Atonement has to do with New Testament Christians? Jesus is our Atoner why should we observe a feast Holy Day. The answer is, there are times when The LORD calls his people together as to spend time with them. These appointed times are called feast day.

The Hebrew word translated as “festivals” is moedim, a word that is key to lunar Sabbatarians’ arguments. Moedim, a plural noun (#4150 in Strong’s Hebrew Concordance) occurs for the first time in this passage. Translators often render it as “seasons” or “times.” Properly, it denotes “appointed seasons” or “appointed times,” referring to the festivals of God, His feast days.

Today, we generally call these festivals by the term “holy days.” Lunar Sabbatarians, looking at Genesis 1:14, correctly conclude that the sun—and particularly the moon—play a key role in establishing the seasons, and most specifically, the appointed feast days, the holy days of God.

Yom Kippur this year is September 29, 2017

For God so love the world that He gave the earth another chance with a better plan. Christ will come and explain, the importance of our relationship with the Father and illustrate how a relationship with the FATHER should look. Christ is seen praying, acknowledging Holiness AWE to the Father. And those following Christ will know the Father’s heart for saving the souls of man.

But the Lord develops a plan where the people of God would labor in the fields where a harvest is waiting for the Message of Salvation.

The people of God sharing their faith with unbelievers while exhibiting God’s love and kindness is the only hope for many. God’s planned is for a righteous person would be a light to those who are in darkness, and many will come to faith in the Messiah because of the virtuous lives of God’s loving children.

However, in the last days, demonic powers will influence some preacher to preach an accommodating Gospel, a Gospel that is easy on the flesh but denies the power that helps an individual to recognize Satan’s tactics, and strengthen them to stand against the wiles of Satan.

The accepting of a Gospel Message without the accepting the requirements for the fruit of repentance is as deadly for us as this same tactic used against Adam and Eve, as Satan knew the consequences of disobeying God. This new Gospel that appeals to the lukewarm Christian, a Gospel that doesn’t require the new birth that Jesus taught is the same subtle lying by Satan from the ancient times. One Major attack will fall upon the music industry. Top musicians will stop singing the Doxology, that is to ascribe greatness to God, but start singing songs that will lead worshipers straight into a life of compromise.

The Word of God is designed to aid believers in recognizing Satan’s tactics and strengthen the believer to stand against the wiles (scams) of Satan.

Such deception as Gospel music will be about God’s obligation to man and not man’s responsibility to God.  and throw up into God’s face, their own revelation of with grace means to their generation, and where carnal Christians, disrespectfully using the Grace ticket with God.

2 Timothy 3:2-5 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

John 3:3 3   Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

“see,” as to discern, comprehend, or perceive

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Psalms 119: 9-11 How can a young person stay pure?  By obeying your word. 10   I have tried hard to find you—don’t let me wander from your commands.  11 I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

1 Peter 1:23 23 For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

The “New Birth” is when we accept God’s Kingdom to reside in our Spirits where Christ is King and Lord. Then, we are no longer dazzled by the Kingdom of this world, but by the pre-introduction of the kingdom of Adonai’s dear Son.

For God, HE wants mankind to understand the need for a change of lifestyles. Some pulpits will Grossly misinterpret the purpose of God’s Grace and Mercy. We will find that God’s Grace doesn’t just to cover our sin, but causes further development with the repented heart.

This is a strong Concordance “Grace.”

The merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues 3) what is due to grace 3a) the spiritual condition of one governed by the power of divine grace

Flood Covenant with Israel

Noah’s ark during when GOD purifies the Earth of sinful men.

For interest, when the LORD made the flood covenant with Israel, his promise to them is sometimes mistaken as to God wouldn’t ever use weather events again was part of the agreement.  To purge the Earth of disobedient people with flood waters is different from violent storms, especially, when the Bible mentioned weather events are tools used by God to get people’s attention in the last days.

Revelation 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Revelation 16:21 (KJV)

Baseball sized hail fell on Wisconsin Rapids on June 7th 2007

Rev 16:11 and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.

However, just before the Lord place a mark on the His people, He will tell the weather to save the worst after I seal my people,

for unprecedented weather events will take place all over the world.

Adonai will command the four angels who will cause great destruction on the earth to wait until all the righteous are sealed as ones belong to Him.

NLT  Revelation 7:1 Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree.

2 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea,

3 “Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.” (Rev 7:1-3 NLT)

I won’t punish Israel Out of anger or purge the earth of humankind by floodwaters.

9   “Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. Isaiah 54:9

However, calamities are taking place all around the Lord will keep His people in perfected peace.

10   For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.         Isaiah 54:10

11     “O storm-battered city, troubled and desolate! I will rebuild you with precious jewels and make your foundations from lapis lazuli. Isaiah 54:11

13   I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace.            14   You will be secure under a government that is just and fair.  Isaiah 54:13-14

Has President Vladimir Putin become prophetic when he warns North Korea nuclear crisis could become a planetary catastrophe?

10 Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch. It fell on one-third of the rivers and on the springs of water.  11 The name of the star was Bitterness. It made one-third of the water bitter, and many people died from drinking the bitter water. (Rev 8:10-11 NLT)

Trump and Kim Jong Un Are The Players that Can End the World

XIAMEN, China, Sept 5 (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that imposing tougher sanctions on North Korea over its nuclear missile program would be counter-productive and said threats of military action could trigger “a global catastrophe.”

Putin, speaking after a BRICs summit in China, criticized U.S. diplomacy in the crisis and renewed his call for talks, saying Pyongyang would not halt its missile testing program until it felt secure.

“Russia condemns North Korea’s exercises, we consider that they are a provocation … (But) ramping up military hysteria will lead to nothing good. It could lead to a global catastrophe,” he told reporters.
